GC5 Chemically Competent cells from Genesee Scientific are appropriate for general cloning, plasmid propagation, construction of gene banks, generation of cDNA libraries, mutagenesis and routine subcloning. They carry the tonA genotype that confers resistance to T1 and T5 phage, which offers added security to protect valuable clones and libraries.
